BOWLING GREEN — Bowling Green State University football coaches Larry McDaniel and Nick Monroe will join the staff of new head coach Dino Babers, while John Hunter will leave to join the staff at Wake Forest University.

Hunter will join former BG coach Dave Clawson at Wake Forest following the Falcons’ appearance in the Little Caesars Pizza Bowl on Dec. 26. He will join former offensive coordinator Warren Ruggiero and defensive coordinator Mike Elko on the Demon Deacons staff.

A BG grad, Hunter was offered a position on Babers’ staff, but declined.
