Police were dispatched at about 7:10 p.m. to an alley in the 2800 block of North Erie Street, where officers found the victims.

No arrests have been made and police continue to investigate. The death of Mr. Rease and Ms. Stamper brings Toledo to four homicides for the year.

Authorities urge those with leads to call the Crime Stopper program at 419-255-1111. Callers may remain anonymous and could be eligible for a cash reward.
