The University of Toledo baseball team has qualified for the Mid-American Conference tournament.
After Western Michigan and Eastern Michigan lost on Saturday, the Rockets have claimed the No. 5 seed in the conference tournament and will face No. 4 seed Central Michigan on Wednesday at 6 p.m. at Sprenger Stadium in Avon.
Toledo finished the season with a 14-13 record in conference play and quailified for its fourth straight trip to the MAC Tournament and 10th trip under head coach Cory Mee.
Kent State, the regular season MAC champions, and Miami are the top two seeds and both earn first-round byes. Ball State is the No. 3 seed and will play No. 6 seed Eastern Michigan on Wednesday prior to Toledo's matchup with the Chippewas.
