Owens literacy program to grow in B.G., Findlay

Owens Community College plans to expand its Adult Basic and Literacy Education program to new sites in Bowling Green and Findlay.

Beginning this week, adults who would like to improve their knowledge and skills in English, mathematics, and reading will be able to attend classes at Wood County JOBsolutions, 1928 E. Gypsy Lane Rd., Bowling Green, and at Hancock County JOBsolutions, 7746 County Road 140, and the Findlay-Hancock County Public Library, 206 Broadway, both in Findlay.

The new classes are to be held from 1 to 3:30 p.m. on Mondays and Wednesdays at Wood County JOBsolutions, from 9 to 11:30 a.m. Tuesdays and Thursdays at Hancock County JOBsolutions, and from 1 to 3:30 p.m. on Tuesdays and Thursdays at the library in Findlay.
