Monroe schools cull candidates for superintendent to 2

Barry Martin, the district’s director of state and federal services, and Scott Snyder, executive director of facilities and operations for the Ypsilanti Public School District, are the finalists for the position of superintendent.

Both candidates will be given a second set of interviews and they also will visit the district. The candidate selected by the board of education will succeed Randy Monday, who will retire at the end of June.
