Monroe County Community College has launched an informational Web site about the 1-mill levy request for operations it will have on the Nov. 4 ballot. It can be visited at monroeccc.edu/​millage or accessed via a graphic on the college’s home page monroeccc.edu.

The new tax, if approved, would cost the owner of a $100,000 home about $48 annually. It is the college’‍s first request for additional millage in 34 years.
