Dinosaurs come alive at downtown science center

Dinosaurs Unearthed, which features 14 realistic, animatronic dinosaurs as well as fossils, skeletons, and a predator scene, opens Saturday at the downtown science center. Stations include an exploration of dinosaur sounds, anatomy, digestion, and fossil detective work, and educates guests about dinosaurs’ lives and behavior based on recent discoveries.

Admission to the exhibit is $19.50 for adults, $17.50 for seniors, and $15.50 for kids ages 3 to 12. Kids 2 and under are free, and Imagination Station members can get into the exhibit for $6.50. The exhibit is one of several exhibits or events planned this year to coincide with the center’s five-year anniversary, and runs through April 12.
