Those interested in who will be chosen to lead the University of Toledo should mark their calendars for a series of public forums, where members of the community and university will get a chance to ask each candidate questions.
UT today announced the times and dates for the public sessions, to take place this month. Each candidate will participate in two forums. The first occurs on the main campus at University Hall’s Doermann Theater. The second forum will take place at the Health Science Campus in the Collier Building.

The sessions with Michele Wheatly, former West Virginia University provost, will take place at 1:30 p.m. Feb. 19 in University Hall and at 8:30 a.m. Feb. 20 in Collier Building Room 1000B.
Christopher Howard, president of Hampden-Sydney College in Virginia, will be at a session at 1:30 p.m. Feb. 23 at University Hall and at 8:30 a.m. Feb. 24 in Collier Building Room 1000A.
Sharon Gaber, provost and vice chancellor for academic affairs at University of Arkansas, will be at a session at 1:30 p.m. Feb. 26 at University Hall and at 8:30 a.m. Feb. 27 in Collier Building Room 1000B.
The forums will include a question-and-answer session as well as a short presentation from each candidate.
The events will also be streamed live online at video.utoledo.edu.
