Staff from a charter school system with campuses in Toledo, Cleveland, and Akron will give away 1,200 free backpacks to students starting Monday.

Imagine Schools’ sixth annual Back2School Family Celebration will hold backpack giveaways from 3 to 7 p.m. at Imagine campuses located at 1030 Clay Ave. and 2729 124th St. 

Backpack giveaways at campuses located at 6145 Hill Ave. and 1511 Madison Ave., will take place Wednesday, the charter school system said in a news release.

In addition to backpacks, students can receive school supplies and haircuts. 

There will be a school uniform raffle, and free food, a bounce house, face painting, and giveaways of Kroger and gas gift cards.
