More than a dozen local food producers will get the chance to showcase their products next month when the Center for Innovative Food Technology holds its annual Northwest Ohio Local Food Show from noon to 1:30 p.m. April 11 at the Stranahan Theater’s Great Hall, 4645 Heatherdowns Blvd.
The show mainly is for food buyers, distributors, and other supporters of local food products. But because of positive feedback, the center has set aside 90 minutes this year for the public to come and look, taste products, and buy them from the producers and vendors. Admission and parking are free.
This year’s participants include Angry Irishman Hot Sauce, Delciello’s Ristorante & Lounge, the Drip Coffee, Metro Croissants, the Mustard Man, Porkbelly BBQ Sauce, Royal Cravings Gourmet Gifts and Treats, Sinful Toffee, SonnyBoys Premium All Purpose Spice Blend, Stanley’s Market, Sweet Designs Chocolatier, Uncle Stevie’s Signature Sauces, and Ying’s Kitchen.
