Outlook: The Rebels were a contender last season for the first CL title involving only Toledo Public Schools. However, they came up shy of their goal with a couple of late-season losses.

If anything, it has stirred up plenty of drive and motivation to come back stronger this season, even though several key players were lost to graduation.

The key concern is how quick the underclassmen come together to help contribute and provide all-around depth for a team that plays a wide-open offensive game.

"If everyone can play as a unit and fly around we could contend for another City title," Lubinski said. "The team will be a work in progress and getting better every week."
