From 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. Oct. 7 and 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Oct. 8, you can pick your own apples, enjoy horse-drawn wagon rides, listen to live music, eat your fill of barbecue and doughnuts and other fair foods, and much more.

The orchard is also hosting its popular apple pie contest on Oct. 7, with entries due by 11:30 a.m. and judging at noon. Prizes range from $100 for the first-place winner to a peck of apples for fifth and sixth places. Participating bakers are required to register by Oct. 5.
