Celebrities, classic funk, classic pop, and classic dance routines headline this summer’s Circle K Concert Series at the Toledo Zoo.
The annual music series, the bulk of which was announced early today, kicks off May 28 with Rock and Roll Hall of Famers Earth, Wind & Fire. Tickets are priced at $46, $60.50, and $76.
The previously announced Barenaked Ladies’ “2015 Last Summer on Earth” concert, with special guests Violent Femmes and Colin Hay (of early ’80s favorite Men at Work), is June 7. Tickets went on sale Feb. 20 and are $43, $56, and $68.50.
Rock and Roll Hall of Fame pop duo Daryl Hall & John Oates (Hall & Oates) perform July 28, with tickets priced at $49, $59.50, and $79.50.
Also coming to the Toledo Zoo Concert Series this summer are Harry Connick, Jr. and the touring production of ABC's popular variety series Dancing with the Stars. Concert dates and ticket prices to both events are to be determined, and will be announced at toledozoo.org soon.
Tickets for all the just-announced shows go on sale at 10 a.m. March 20, and are available at all TicketMaster locations, livenation.com, by phone at 800-745-3000 or 419-385-5721, or visit the Toledo Zoo main box office Monday-Sunday from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.
The box office is in the Visitor Service/Guest Information Building. Enter from the Anthony Wayne Trail side of the Toledo Zoo. Toledo Zoo members can purchase their tickets early through Ticketmaster beginning at 10 a.m. Wednesday. All concerts are at the Toledo Zoo Amphitheater, near the box office.
