Grammy nominated, multiplatinum selling recording artist Bill Engvall, also a top comedian, appears at 7 p.m. Friday at the Stranahan Theater, 4645 Heatherdowns Blvd.
Engvall made it to the finals as a contestant on season 17 of Dancing with the Stars. He has lent his voice to the animated comedy series Bounty Hunters, and he previously was the executive producer for the TBS sitcom The Bill Engvall Show.
He may be best known for teaming up with Jeff Foxworthy and Larry the Cable Guy for the Blue Collar Comedy concert films.

Honor first responders and raise funds for the local American Red Cross at Fire & Ice with Dueling Pianos, set for 7-11 p.m. Friday at the Clazel Theater, 127 N. Main St., Bowling Green.
The event will benefit local families who have had a fire at home, or for military families in need of emergency services as a result of a death. Dueling Pianos International is a high energy, sing-along, clap-along, rock 'n’ roll, comedy piano show that promises a fun evening for both the audience and show entertainers.
