COLUMBUS — Ohio State will debut an all-gray Nike uniform for its Saturday game against Penn State.
The wolf-themed uniform features a gray helmet with scarlet Buckeye leaf decals, and gray pants and jerseys with silver-and-black trim. The Buckeyes will wear custom all-scarlet Nike LeBron Soldier XI cleats with the set.
The uniform numbers, helmet, and socks all have a pattern unique to this particular alternate.
Ohio State has worn several alternate uniforms in recent years, but Saturday’s will be the first all-gray look for the program.
The No. 6 Buckeyes will kick off against the No. 2 Nittany Lions at 3:30 p.m. Saturday from Ohio Stadium. FOX is televising the game.
