Toledo police promote repeal

Dan Wagner, right, president of the Toledo Police Patrolman's Association, speaks out against Senate Bill 5, which significantly cuts collective bargaining rights of public employees, at the union hall. He said the TPPA has collected nearly 7,000 signatures seeking to place a referendum to repeal the bill. Unions need 231,000 signatures statewide by June 29 to put it on the ballot. Next to Mr. Wagner, from left, are officers Rebecca Kincaid and Amy Herrick. In the back are Connie LePla, Officer Anthony Manera, and Detective Bart Beavers.
