LIMA, Ohio -- Five people, including a 15-year-old boy, have been arrested in an undercover prostitution operation.

Undercover Lima police officers arrested the five Lima residents Tuesday night for attempting to solicit plain-clothes officers for sexual activity, authorities said. The sting took place just south of the city's downtown at the edge of the business district, police said.

Ronald Fails, 53, of Lima, was charged with two counts of soliciting and one count of loitering to engage in solicitation, police said. There was no information available on Mr. Fails at the Allen County jail.

Rose Morrison, 34, of Lima, was charged with soliciting and loitering to engage in solicitation. Ms. Morrison was being held on $3,064 bond, according to the county jail.

Sandra Bendit, 46, of Lima, was charged with soliciting and loitering to engage in solicitation. There was no information available on Ms. Bendit at the jail.

Trisha Smith, 27, of Lima, was charged with soliciting, loitering to engage in solicitation, and possession of drug paraphernalia. She was being held in the jail yesterday on $4,500 bond.

A 15-year-old boy also was charged with two counts of soliciting and one count of loitering to engage in solicitation.
