A gunman who robbed an Internet cafe in West Toledo early Friday fled with an estimated $3,000, Toledo police said.

According to the report, a masked man walked into the Mega Play Cafe, 4925 Jackman Rd., at about 2:40 a.m., brandished a gun, and demanded "the money bag and the money out of the register" from a clerk.

The clerk turned over the money and the suspect fled on foot in an unknown direction, police said.

The cafe has video cameras, but data from that surveillance was not immediately available.

The suspect is described as a black male who was wearing a black mask, black shirt, and gray pants.
