Perrysburg firefighters extinguished a burning vehicle on northbound I-75 tonight, authorities said.

The fire department responded about 6:45 p.m after the vehicle caught fire on the interstate near the Fremont Pike exit, dispathers said.

There were no reports of injuries. Traffic on some lanes may have been restricted but the road remained opened.
