Amy E. Voigt is an award-winning photojournalist who has been a member of The Blade’s photo staff since 2007. Ms. Voigt, 41, received her bachelor’s degree in art history from Fordham University in 1993 and master’s degree in journalism from the University of Missouri in 2002. No stranger to gangs, she covered MS-13 in Honduras and while there reported on a sex-trafficking ring. Both projects garnered awards from the Associated Press.
