Taylor Dungjen is The Blade’s crime reporter. She has been with the newspaper since March, 2011, and has covered dozens of violent deaths, including numerous gang homicides. She writes a crime blog Ride Along, for toledoblade.com, which has won both state and local awards, including Best Blog in the 2011 Associated Press Society of Ohio awards. Ms. Dungjen, 24, started her journalism career at the Morning Journal in Lorain, Ohio, after graduating in 2010 from the University of Cincinnati with a degree in journalism.
