FREMONT -- A collision involving two tractor-trailer rigs and a car at the intersection of U.S. 6 and Sandusky County Road 232 near Fremont injured two people and has closed a section of the road. 

One of the victims was transported by ground to a local hospital; the second was flown to a hospital, according to the Ohio Highway Patrol.

The names of the victims and other details were not immediately available.

The Ohio Department of Transportation reported that U.S. 6 between county roads 232 and 240 remains closed through Thursday because of the crash.
