The body of a man reported missing on Sunday at a private lake in Springfield Twp. has been recovered according to a spokesman for the Ohio Department of Natural Resources.
Firefighters from Toledo and Springfield Township fire departments searched today for a man who fell from a pontoon boat into a private lake at the Hidden Harbor subdivision near King and Angola roads on Sunday.
The Ohio DNR Division of Watercraft, Toledo Fire and Rescue divers, the Lucas County Sheriff‘s Office and the Monclova Twp. Fire Department aided in the search.
Search teams were in the water on and off Monday because of the severe weather and tornado sirens.
A person in the water was reported shortly before 7 p.m. Sunday to the township fire department and Lucas County EMS.
No information has been released identifying the man.
