WHITEHOUSE, Ohio — Traffic on the Waterville-Swanton Road has returned to normal after being closed for a cleanup following a tractor-trailer rig fire near this Lucas County community earlier today, authorities said.

There was no word of injuries.

The incident occurred about 2:35 a.m. in the 1300 block of Waterville-Swanton near Manore Road closing Waterville-Swanton in both directions, according to the Lucas County Sheriff’s Office. It was unclear what caused the cab of the truck to catch fire.
