Police are investigating the shooting death of a man in North Toledo Thursday night, Toledo police said.

Jewell Miller, 23, of Toledo was found with a gunshot wound in the 700 block of Bush Street at 11:29 p.m. The victim was pronounced dead at the scene.

The shooting death is being investigated as a homicide. The official ruling on the cause of death is pending an autopsy scheduled later today at the Lucas County Coroner’s Office.

This is the 22nd homicide in the metro area and the 19th in Toledo.
