An injury crash tied up the morning rush hour traffic in central Toledo today, authorities said.

The number of those injured and their conditions weren’t immediately available.

Two car collided about 7:25 a.m. in the intersection of North Detroit Avenue and Monroe Street, affecting traffic in the area, a Toledo police dispatcher said. One of the cars caught fire, according to police radio traffic.

The crash is under investigation.
