Authorities have identified Sean Johnson, 25, of Toledo as the man who was shot and killed early today in West Toledo.
Dr. Jeffrey Hudson, a Lucas County deputy coroner who did the autopsy, said the victim was shot four times, twice in the head and twice in the torso. Both of the head wounds were lethal. The death was ruled a homicide, he said.

Toledo police responded about 6:30 a.m. to a report of gunshots heard in the 800 block of Sibley Road, a police dispatcher said.
The victim’s body was removed from the middle of the street on Kellog Road just east of Sibley Road.
Authorities did not release the motive or any other details of the shooting.
Rebecca Orner, 34, a neighbor, said her 15-year-old daughter heard what they later realized were multiple shots being fired as she was getting ready for school at about 5:40 a.m. Ms. Orner said her daughter originally thought they were fireworks, which are heard in the neighborhood often.
They then saw police cars arriving. She has lived in a neighboring house with her boyfriend and five children, 5 through 15, for about three years.
“I am worried,” Ms. Orner said. “I don’t even feel like letting my kids out of the house, there is so much going on in Toledo.”
A neighbor who only identified himself as Jason for fear of his safety, said there are drug deals going on all the time in the neighborhood, although he described the area as fairly quiet.
“I came out and saw a man face down on the road,” he said of this morning. “He was a black man who looked like he was in his 30s. He wore a green hoodie, tan pants or jeans, and work boots.”
The death is the 20th homicide in Toledo this year and the 23rd in the metro area.
The incident is under investigation.
