Tractor-trailer rig overturns, spills ethanol in Henry County

McClure, Ohio – An overturned tractor-trailer rig that leaked ethanol has forced an evacuation request and shut down State Rt. 65 in Henry County, authorities said.

Authorities ordered the evacuation within a half mile of the crash site, on the state route between county roads K and L. No residents were home in the area. Citizens are temporarily restricted from entering.

The truck carried 8,000 gallons of ethanol, Tracy Busch, director of the county Emergency Management Agency. It’s not clear how much leaked from the vehicle.
