FREMONT — A vehicle fire closed one lane on westbound U.S. 20 near this Sandusky County community early today, authorities said.

There were no injuries, according to the Ohio Highway Patrol.

A tractor-trailer rig caught fire in the westbound lanes of the highway east of State Rt. 590, according to the patrol’s Fremont post. The lane remained closed as of about 8 a.m., by which time the fire had been extinguished.

Fremont is about 33 miles southeast of Toledo.
