A man was shot and killed Wednesday night in South Toledo, authorities said.
Isaiah Austin, 26, was pronounced dead at the scene, Toledo police said.
Police responding to a report of a person shot in the 1200 block of South Avenue arrived about 9:05 a.m. and found Austin in his car , suffering from at least one gunshot wound, police said in a written statement released today.

This is the 11th homicide in Toledo this year, and the 12th in the metro area.
The incident remains under investigation.
