The Lucas County Coroner’s Office completed an autopsy Thursday on the body, but an identification has not been made. The body is also too decomposed to know whether the person was a man or woman.
Dr. Jeffrey Hudson, who completed the autopsy, said the person has been deceased anywhere from a few weeks to a few months, and the body lacks any obvious signs of trauma.

“I may never find out a good cause of death,” he said.
He said Toledo Police are looking through missing persons databases for a possible match. A forensic anthropologist will also be used to try to determine the body’s race, sex and age.
