An East Toledo woman came to a polling station Tuesday only to find out that somebody had already used her name to vote, authorities said.

A Toledo police report identified the victim as Susan Brittson, 52, of Valleywood Drive .

Ms. Brittson told police she went to a voting booth at a polling station about 9 a.m. and was told that someone had used her name to check in and vote, according to the report.

County records list Garfield Elementary School, 1103 N. Ravine Pkwy., as the polling station for the woman’s address.

Lucas County Board of Elections director Gina Kaczala could not be reached for comment.
