Police identify man, 24, fatally shot in Findlay

Trey D. James, 24, of Findlay, pronounced dead at Blanchard Valley Hospital

FINDLAY — Authorities have identified Trey D. James, 24, of Findlay as the man who died Friday after police say he was shot multiple times.

According to police, officers were dispatched at about 2:30 p.m. on the report of a fight and shooting in the 200 block of George Street, near the University of Findlay.

Upon officers’ arrival, the Mr. James was found there with multiple gunshot wounds.

Mr. James was transported to Blanchard Valley Hospital where he was pronounced dead a short time later.

An autopsy will be performed by the Lucas County Coroner’s Office. The date of the autopsy has not been released.

The incident continues to be investigated and no arrests have been made.
