FAYETTE, Ohio — One woman is dead after crashing her car into a ditch Friday in Fulton County.

Authorities pronounced Patricia Stambaugh, 64, of Fayette, dead at the scene at U.S. 20 near County Road 19, according to the Toledo post of the Ohio Highway Patrol.

Ms. Stambaugh was traveling west on U.S. 20 when she drove off the north side of the road, struck an embankment, and crashed into a ditch, troopers said.

Law enforcement officers were contacted about 9 a.m., but troopers said the time of the crash is not yet known.
