Huntington Bank branch in West Toledo robbed

A man brandishing a black handgun robbed a West Toledo bank Tuesday morning, authorities reported.

The robber entered the Huntington National Bank branch at 4105 Talmadge Rd about 10:30 a.m. and demanded money from tellers, the Federal Bureau of Investigation’s Cleveland office said in a statement. The man fled on foot with an undisclosed amount of cash, and nobody was injured.

The FBI said the robber was a white male about 6 feet, 1 inch tall, clean shaven and with a thin build, in his late 20s or early 30s. He wore a tan shirt, gray sweatpants, and dark-colored gloves, tennis shoes, stocking cap, and neck gaiter. He carried a black backpack.
