Toledo police are asking for the public’s help to solve a homicide from Saturday. 

Officers found the body of Jeffrey Wallace, 55, in the 500 block of East Streicher Street after receiving a call of shots fired in the area at about 6:30 a.m.

Dr. Cynthia Beisser, deputy coroner with the Lucas County Corner's Office said Saturday an autopsy is scheduled for Monday.

Mr. Wallace’s death marks the 14th homicide this year in the Toledo area. 

Anyone with information is asked to call the Crime Stopper program at 419-255-1111. Callers may remain anonymous and could be eligible for a reward.
