A person was shot late Wednesday in the 1100 block of Belmont Avenue, authorities said.

Toledo police and paramedics were dispatched to the scene about 10:45 p.m. 

The victim’s name and condition were not immediately available.

Police discovered several shell casings as they began an investigation.
