With the recent combined newsroom of WTOL and WUPW-TV, Channel 36, as part of a shared services agreement, a new morning newscast will debut June 11 on WUPW.

The 7 to 8 a.m. program will most likely feature a new-to-Toledo anchor and existing WTOL-WUPW personnel.

WUPW's newscasts will also be presented in 720p high-definition for the first time on or before June 11, in time for the newscast's premiere.
