Officials with DISH Network and the company that owns WTVG, Channel 13, reached an agreement Tuesday, alleviating fears the television station would be blacked out for those satellite customers.
According to the television station’s website, Atlanta-based Gray Television, it was negotiating carriage fees for its stations with DISH, and the company’s agreement with the network expired at 7 p.m.
Had an agreement not been reached, the network would have had to, by law, discontinue showing WTVG, according to the station’s website.

However, by a little past 8 p.m., WTVG officials said a deal had been reached.
