Cake Arts Bakery and Supplies: The staff possesses a wealth of experience and frequently offers classes to teach cake and cookie decorating. A new six-week cake decorating class will begin on Sept. 4 for adults; the cost is $95 (no pans) or $110 (with pans), pre-paid, and will include a kit and a book. A recipe for finding ingredients

Chef Setee At Your Home: El Houcine Setee will bring all the ingredients and equipment necessary for preparing cakes, pastries, chocolates, and other desserts to your home or office and give step-by-step lessons from start to finish. Sessions can be one or two days, depending on what’s being taught, and are offered for both children and adults as well as groups or individuals. Miss J Bakery: This shop offering treats all prepared from scratch is teaching the next generation with decorating classes for 5 to 11 year olds on Sundays, continuing through October. There are two sessions each week: 1 to 2 p.m. and 3 to 4 p.m. Children will decorate six cupcakes each using buttercream frosting, sprinkles, and more. The cost is $30 per student. 25950 N. Wendy Kromer Confections: Sandusky’s own celebrity pastry chef, Wendy Kromer has been a contributing editor to Martha Stewart Weddings since 1995. At her studio, she teaches small classes and also offers private consultations ($1000 per 8-hour day plus materials) from November through March.
