Attorney General Marc Dann puts aide on leave in harassment investigation

COLUMBUS — Ohio Attorney General Marc Dann has placed his communications director and one-time condo-mate on administrative leave, citing new information received over the weekend in a scandal over sexual harassment allegations.

A news release Monday from Dann's office says that Leo Jennings, who served as his chief adviser on public affairs matters, would remain on leave while an investigation continues. Dann did not describe the new information.

The harassment allegations were made by two female employees against another attorney general staff member, Anthony Gutierrez.

In 2007, Jennings, Gutierrez and Dann shared a Dublin condominium where one woman says she was harassed by Gutierrez. Gutierrez has also been placed on leave.
