Mansfield man charged in robbery of Tiffin firm

TIFFIN — A Mansfield, Ohio, man has been charged with robbing a local check-cashing business, police said.

William D. Morgan, 30, was charged with aggravated robbery, kidnapping, and tampering with evidence stemming from a Nov. 3 holdup at Check Into Cash on West Market Street.

The charges were filed Wednesday in Tiffin Municipal Court, although Mr. Morgan has not been arraigned.

Mr. Morgan, who had outstanding warrants from Richland County, is being held in the Richland County jail.
