The 2009 ADDY Awards will be presented by the Advertising Club of Toledo at 6 p.m. Feb. 26 in the audio/visual classroom center of Owens Community College. Cost: $40; $25 for students. Reservations by today, 419-866-4199 or director@adclubtoledo.org.

Increasing access to the nation's oil and natural gas resources will be the topic of a speech by former U.S. Rep. Charlie Stenholm, a Democrat from Texas, who will speak at the Toledo Club from noon to 1:30 p.m. Thursday during the quarterly luncheon of the Toledo Chamber of Commerce's Small Business Association. Cost: $25 for chamber members; $30 for nonmembers. Reservations required through toledochamber.com.

Michael Mallett, president and CEO of Corporate Research International, and his father, Jerry Mallett, founder of the Mazza Museum and a professor of education, will discuss The Ins and Outs of Entrepreneurship: Two Views from the Mallett Family, at 12:30 p.m. Thursday in Winebrenner Theological Seminary on the University of Findlay campus.

The event, sponsored by the university's college of business, is free and open to the public.

Joe Napoli, president and general manager of the Toledo Mud Hens, will discuss
Swamped: Branding Mud Hens, Walleye, and Bullfrogs, at 11:30 a.m. Friday during the monthly meeting of the Northwest Ohio Chapter of the Public Relations Society of America.

It will be at the Toledo Club. Cost: $15 for chapter members; $25 for visitors; $10 for students.

The meeting is open to the public. Reservations by Wednesday, 419-867-8792.
