New pastor installed at Summerfield Baptist

The Rev. Jim McCourt has been installed as pastor of Summerfield Baptist Church in Petersburg, Mich., succeeding the Rev. Daun Nowak.

Mr. McCourt is a native of Staten Island, N.Y., and his wife, Angela, grew up in Toledo. The couple served together at Beacon Bible Church in the Bronx, N.Y., before Mr. McCourt enrolled at Pensacola Theological Seminary, where he received a master’s of arts degree in Bible exposition and a master of divinity degree.
