Ohio teen dies after fall from cliff

COLUMBUS, Ohio — An Ohio teen has died after falling about 50 feet from a cliff at a state park.

State officials say 15-year-old Jacob Walls of Reynoldsburg died Friday afternoon after falling at Hocking Hills State Park in Logan, about 45 miles southeast of Columbus.

Walls was attending a Church of the Nazarene summer camp last week at Ohio Christian University in Circleville.

Beth Ruth, a spokeswoman for the Ohio Department of Natural Resources, says Walls had wandered off the marked trail before he fell.

On July 1, 17-year-old Dustin Huffman died after tumbling near 100 feet down a cliff at Beaver Creek State Park, about 80 miles southeast of Cleveland.
