BOWLING GREEN — A Wood County Common Pleas judge has appointed a receiver in an $11 million foreclosure action against the owner of the Woodland Mall, Bowling Green’s only indoor shopping center.

Mike Guggenheim, president of Guggenheim Inc., a commercial real estate firm in Beachwood, Ohio, near Cleveland, was named last week as the receiver to run the mall. U.S. Bank has sued mall owner Woodland Mall Holdings LLC in a foreclosure proceeding.

The bank holds the mortgage on the 272,000-square-foot mall, which is located off State Route 25 on Bowling Green’s north side.
