Carey shrine plans ‘Family Day’ events

CAREY, Ohio — “Family Day” will feature faith and fun activities tomorrow at the Basilica and National Shrine of Our Lady of Consolation.

In addition to regular Sunday Masses at 8 and 10 a.m., the annual Family Day celebration will include a family Mass at noon followed by a picnic lunch and games.

The Sacrament of Reconciliation will be offered beginning at 10:30 a.m. and a benediction and prayers for healing with the Relic of the True Cross will follow an outdoor rosary procession at 2:30 p.m.
