Minivan hits Seneca County house; driver flees scene

TIFFIN — Investigators are looking for the motorist whose minivan rammed into a house on Hopewell Township Road 119 about 5 a.m. Sunday.

State troopers said a southbound minivan went off the road and hit a tree before hitting the side of the house and coming to rest in a bedroom.

The home’s occupant suffered minor injuries. The driver fled. Troopers said the vehicle, a 1995 Mercury Villager, was registered to a Tiffin woman but had been reported stolen.
