Sauder Village in Archbold is again celebrating the holidays with lantern tours. Guests will visit the historic village by candlelight with a costumed interpreter and sample holiday customs in northwest Ohio in the late 1800s and early 1900s.
Tours last approximately 90 minutes and will be repeated every half hour from 4 to 8:30 p.m. Nov. 28, and Dec. 5, 11, and 12. Reservations are a must, and preregistration and prepayment is $10 for adults and $6 for students ages 6-16. Information: 800-590-9755 or saudervillage.org.

Lights Before Christmas, the Toledo Zoo's holiday spectacular, kicks off between 6 and 6:30 p.m. Nov. 20 with the ceremonial lighting of the zoo's 85-foot tall Norway spruce tree, adorned with more than 32,000 LED lights. Trees, shrubbery, and animated figures will feature more than a million lights, and visitors can also enjoy model trains, holiday treats, carolers, and ice-carving demonstrations on selected evenings. Santa will hear children's Christmas wishes in the Indoor Theater through Dec. 23.
Lights Before Christmas will run through December, except for Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, and Christmas Day. Hours will be 5 to 8 p.m. Monday-Thursday (the park closes at 9) and 5 to 9 p.m. Friday and Sunday (the park closes at 10). •The Van Wert County 4-H Interstate Exchange group is hosting its third Holiday Light Show at the Fair. The drive-through light show at the Van Wert County Fairgrounds will be open from 6 to 9 p.m. Friday-Sunday from Nov. 27 through Dec. 27. The display can be accessed from Fox Road at the gate 5 entrance to the fairground. Cost is $5 a car or $25 a bus. Information is available from the Ohio State county extension office at 419-238-1214.
