Body of former Hudson man found at Sandusky marina

SANDUSKY — Authorities are investigating the death of a former Hudson, Ohio, man whose body was found in the water Friday at the Sandusky Harbor Marina.
The man was identified as Thomas McNerney, 58. who lived on his boat in the marina, Sandusky police Sgt. Ron Snyder said. Mr. McNerney formerly lived in Hudson.
A person at the marina dialed 911 about 12:55 p.m. to report a body in the water, authorities said.
Authorities did not know why he was in the water. The body was taken to the Lucas County coroner's office for an autopsy, Sergeant Snyder said.
